MORTGAGE-FINANCED DWELLINGS - Programme Description
The programme addresses the needs of individuals who have turned 18 and who are interested in buying a dwelling built through the National Housing Agency.
In order to buy a dwelling built under this programme, the applicants need funding (down payments and mortgages taken out with NHA partner banks).
The mortgage-financed housing units may be flats (apartments) or houses. These dwellings are built on lands made available by the local authorities for NHA housing construction during the execution of the building works. Local councils also provide for the building of the infrastructure (utility networks) on the NHA mortgage-financed housing locations.
If you need further information, please review the purchase procedure and contact the NHA representatives.
IMPORTANT: The owners of such dwellings may purchase or take out a lease on the land from the local authorities.
